8 kinds of poultry products "landing" Taiwan's agricultural products to expand new outlets

On June 20th, the first batch of poultry meat products with Taiwan flavors were officially put on the mainland market after being inspected and passed by the Xiamen Inspection and Inspection Bureau, marking a breakthrough in cross-strait exchanges and cooperation in food and agricultural products.

The formal entry into force of the ECFA (Economy Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement) has made cross-strait economic and trade exchanges more active. Taiwan’s economic animal product manufacturers have targeted the mainland market and have begun a new wave of landfall. On February 1 this year, the AQSIQ approved risk analysis on the basis of the relevant cross-strait agreement, and approved the importation of poultry, eggs, and meat cooked products from five Taiwanese companies to the mainland, and designated Beijing, Shanghai, and Xiamen as ports of entry. The five companies and products that they have obtained are the modulation pork of Taiwan Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Industry Co., Ltd., the modulation pork of the Pingtung Plant of Jiayixiang Food Co., Ltd., the poultry meat products of Kaixin Industry Co., Ltd., and the Yuanlin County of Yunlin County. The Poultry Meat Products of the Poultry Production Cooperative, the cooked salted eggs and the steamed fragrant egg tri-colored egg products of Haoliang Food Co., Ltd.

The poultry meat products were produced by the Yuanchang Poultry Production Cooperative in Yunlin County, Taiwan, and introduced by Xiamen CITIC Long Import and Export Co., Ltd., including chicken legs, drunk chicken legs, chicken, chicken, aroma duck breast, tea geese, and horned rot. 8 kinds of goose legs and ginger ducks, a total of 110 boxes, 1877 kg, 7459.4 US dollars. The Xiamen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau checked the hygiene certificate, checked the packaging marks, and after conducting tests on nitrites, pathogens, and veterinary residues in safety and health projects, it confirmed that the batch of products met the relevant requirements of the mainland.

"This batch of products will be first tested in Fujian Province. Once the market is performing well, it will be imported normally." According to the person in charge of Xiamen CITIC Long Import and Export Co., Ltd., the import of poultry meat products from Taiwan into the mainland can allow mainland consumers to enjoy more affordable prices. Taiwan's high-grade poultry processed foods are also expanding sales for Taiwan's agricultural farmers.
