Biogas digesters are a good thing, but good things must also be taken care of. If they are used improperly, they will not only shorten the service life of the biogas digesters but also affect the growth of vegetables. So, what problems should be paid attention to in the use of biogas digesters? Han Gaozeng, Lijiacun, Luocheng Street, Shouguang City, introduced his experience.

First of all, biogas digesters need regular maintenance. Many people think that after the biogas digester is built, it can be used once and for all. It is no longer necessary to manage it. This can easily lead to problems. For example, the pressure gauge reads large but does not emit gas, and for a long time, a rotten egg smell appears. All the equipment is not maintained. Therefore, after the biogas is built, it should be managed as a vegetable greenhouse and used for a long period of time.

Second, before the feeding, the straw should be wetted with water, and the temperature should be paid attention when feeding. When the temperature of the pool is above 12°C, feeding can be performed. The feed should be selected from fine weather, from 1pm to 3pm to ensure a higher temperature promotes its fermentation. Be careful not to use chicken feces or human feces alone to start, because such materials are easily acidified in the case of less biogas bacteria, and the addition of antibiotics in chicken feces makes it difficult for fermentation to proceed normally.

Thirdly, during the normal operation of biogas digesters, attention should be paid to supplementing nitrogen sources. One to two kilograms of carbon ammonia can be added every half month. After 60 days of normal operation, straw should be added on schedule, and each crushed and piled straw 15-25 kg should be added to the pool every 7 days or so, and the amount of water or a certain amount of biogas slurry or biogas slurry should be added depending on the level of water pressure. Each time nitrogen source and straw are added, attention must be paid to stirring. It is necessary to pay special attention to the fact that biogas digesters with straw as raw material for fermentation must be refueled after one year of operation. The method of discharge is to first extract the biogas slurry and leave it at 10%, and then remove the straw slag from the discharge chamber. If necessary, Open the movable cover and discharge it.

During use, it is also necessary to inspect the airtightness of the ventilation pipe to ensure airtightness. It is best not to use an open flame around the methane tank or around the pipe to avoid fire. In addition, insecticides, sterilizers, etc. in the shed must be kept away from the digester.
